Our server Ayesha was super sweet and the manager Tiffany was great she came around several times to make sure we were doing well! Came on a Saturday for lunch with 5 people in our group. Seafood was on the buffet, all was good, and piping hot! My only complaint was the women's bathroom looked like it had been flooded recently from the stool, one toilet barely flushed, and it needed a bit of sweeping since toilet paper had been shredded on the floor.
We are from Ohio and stop here on our return trip from North Carolina. Shoney's is a favorite of ours. The food is always good and tasty and very plentiful with a wide variety of selections. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The place soon filled up with other patrons.
Princeton west Virginia location was suspicious. Food was hard and cold. Bathroom door held open with trash can. Bathroom ceiling leaked water, toilet had puke in it. Blonde girl didn't know how to ring up a shoney bear. This may be why they are limited locations
For the most part you would think that everyone is familiar with Shoney's, but for those who are not it is similar to a Denny's in many ways. This particular restaurant was in Princeton, West Virginia. We stopped by doing our travels for breakfast. I personally only had the breakfast buffet, borrow our table did have one person order from the menu. Admittedly they do have an extensive buffet that also includes a salad bar at breakfast time, but it certainly not what you would consider high-end. I can say that nothing was particularly bad. We were at the establishment 8/8/24....we had the privledge of being waited on by Destiny. Best servide we have had in a long time.. Destiny was courtesous, efficient, and caring. We advised Tiffany, manager of the great service and she was so pleasant as well. The dinner bar was clean and stocked properly. Food was awesome as well.
Great Sunday Brunch Buffett! Full Breakfast and dinner items along with salad bar! Quick place to eat to avoid the wait lists at Cracker Barrel or Chilis!
